I must admit...

I'm rather pleased with myself. In no way, shape, or form am I a gifted poet, but I have done it! I have written a sonnet. Aren't you so proud?

A long goodbye, sweet and cold as Spring's rain.

Grief nips at the soul, lips grin with embrace.

A sweet peck is enjoyed before heart's pain.

Why must one leave the presence of your grace?

As flowers are picked and have their leaves spread,

One enjoys the light fragrance it inspires.

Each petal picks a path the wind have lead,

So each lovely scent quickly expires.

But hope we shall not choose to toss away,

For destinies’ paths are known to cross.

Like our petals which have fallen astray,

We will soon make up for our woeful loss.

How sweet the sorrow, the parting of two.

We will soon be together, starting new.

I'm going to show Banks Monday. Maybe she'll hang it on the wall like the other classes' poems! Wilson asked me to read his Friday. o.O;; They both went something like....

Death.

Blood.

So much blood.

The knife.

Cuts.

My wrist.

Pain.

Blood.

And I'm thinking, Oh, yes Wilson. You are going to woo so many ladies writing like that.

Hehe.. Anyway, I don't have much planned for today. Yesterday Paula was at a party so Paula's mom, my mom, and I (as well as our escort - Dad) went shopping. I must say, I absolute loathe shopping. Now, if we had shopped for what was planned, I wouldn't have mind. My little cousin Laci (or Lacey, who knows) is finally getting a little shower. So we went to go get baby clothes! Now, we got the clothes last. First, my mother must root through the underwear department. I swear. She could spend hours there. And I'm dragging behind blushing, whining "Can we go to the book store. Plllleeeaasse..."  I won't even go into some of the conversations we had >.> Oh dear...

Anyway, once we [finally] got out of there, mom spent the time to look at shirts and things. We did buy some adorible baby clothes (four outfits although mom said we'd only get three). My mother also snagged cooking tongs, a placemat, and a few pairs of unmentionables. We spent 90 dollars! And we went in for baby clothes! And to rub it in, everything fit in a bag!

By this time, I was already tired. Shopping takes a lot out of me. Or maybe I'm just bored. Both, more likely. I shop till I drop, I just happen to drop in the first ten minutes.

After this little adventure, anyway, we ventured to a hair beauty place. Mom's been spying out a few hairstyles for my dance dress. Lots of beads and spare hair there. Not much for me. A few cute headbands, but.... nah. Donna bought Paula a sparkley little clip/comb though. Very pwetty.

THEN, we went to Sam's. We bought, again, more than we thought. A lot more. They didn't have Phantom of the Opera, which shocked me. However, Dad went to Best Buy and bought it for me. ^___^ Then we came home and I goofed off the rest of the day.

Well... that sums up everything. Later!

Been awhile, eh?

Hey. It's morning. I'm bored. I'm posting. Candy and roses will be fine.

Letsee... Now that I'm here I can think of no clever and hillarious way to describe my past day(s). I suppose I shall start at the beginning of yesterday....

My day started with my typical waking up, stumbling off to my closet, getting dressed, and my fifty minute internet goof-off time. Turns out, that would be the longest time I'd be on the computer all day, but I'll get to that later. Then I skipped off to school to await my painful doom that teachers have innocently named 'learning.'

First period (homeroom, or PAWS) nothing exciting happened. It was a homework day and since I typically get everything done in advance, I was free to read. Lately, I've been reading The Diary of Anne Frank just because I've honestly never read it before, and I figure I need to am I to ever succeed at life or know anything about WWII.

Next, Band. We're playing The Incredibles for Parade of Bands. It's a pretty fun arrangement, and I'm getting better at playing loud. Also! Since Renee' wanted to borrow Ptolemy's Gate from me (xP they don't have it at the school library) she let me see a bootlegged DVD of The Prisioner of Azkaban from China. Now, the DVD's in English (and she claims it's pretty good), the the back's traslation is seriously messed up. It's GREAT. *snickers* Molestation of melons... *snickers*

My next related arts, Choir! Now, I'm on a few kicks lately. First off (and please don't laugh) I'm on a bit hooked on Shakespeare. Maybe it's just because I love plays, or I love the sophisticated way they speak, but I'm quite intrigued by his work. But, now to topic, I'm also on a Choir/Phantom of the Opera kick. For our Celebration Concert, we're singing like the two most awesomest songs EBER - Boheimion Rapsody by Queen and All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera (which we've previously watched in class). Now, it's hillarious and fun to sing the first one and the second one is so dang beautiful. >.> Mrs. Johnson says we must marry a man who can sing, and sing it to each other at our wedding! It's a good idea, actually.

Now, in Biology, we're disecting earthworms! Yummy, right?

English - Much Ado About Nothing. I love Beatrice....

Social Studies - Civil War power point.

Algebra - Gr.

I'll tell you about my shot and lessons later maybe. Breakfest ride is here.

Fine, fine...

I'm updating! Happy? Sheesh! Patience is a virtue people. And I'm lazy.

Ah... Okay. Let's see... Yesterday was our choir contest and all-in-all it was very successful.

Everyone arrived at the school (excluding the about ten people who said they wouldn't show up/had funerals/didn't bring in permission slips), I before anyone else. Previously, I had spent the night at Paula's house because both my parents were out at a hotel somewhere. My mother had a Nursing 'workshop' thing to go to, and my dad is our unpaid escort to where-ever the women of the family want to go; we out number him two-to-one (three-to-one if you count the dog and five-to-one if you count Paula and Donna). Because I had choir concert the next day, I was shipped over to Paula and Donna where I spent the night. We watched a bit of Pirates of the Car. I'm really looking forward to the second one!

In the morning, Donna brought us donuts from the Sweet Shop, which we enjoyed whole-heartedly. I had two twisty-things, four donuts holes, and a bottle of water. Once we had changed into our uniforms, we three headed over to the school to wait for the bus to pick us up. Donna was shaperoning, so we had to be there early. Slowly, but surely, middle-school kids in white shirts and black pants wandered into the choir room. Then the bus came!

The ride there was uneventful, and I spent a good portion of the trip gazing out the window. It was rainy. Wet. It was a kind of refreshing rain though, when we all hopped off the bus, it was kind of nice to feel to cool rain.

Once we all shook ourselves dry at the enterance at the school, Mrs. J. led us to a hallway where she let our legs rest awhile before we stood in front of the judges (we would be standing awhile). Some people went to use the restroom, but soon we were in our warmup room getting ready. We nit-picked a few little details before we walked into the school's wrestling room to preform.

We were great! One of our best performances, I'm sure. I loved all the songs too, and it helped that we sounded great on all of them. They were Sieze the Day from the movie/musical Newsies, Little Wheel A Turnin' which was a spiritual kind of song, and When I'm Sixty-Four by the Beatles! That was my favorite! The judges hardly had anything to say about us! Our expression and energy was all the three judges commented on. And really... all we did was run through the songs. We were just too good  On the way home, Mrs. J. let the name of the play we're doing in the summer for Children's Theater slip. It's "No Strings Attached." Should be interesting.

After the choir thing, Donna dropped us two girls off at the high school where we went to go see its production of Romeo and Juilet. It was kind of hard to follow, but I found refuge in the little summary posted in the program. Overall I was really impressed on what the high school accomplished! Especially the sword fighting! The handling was really impressing. A professional taught them though (it was in the news paper!). I found Juilet's death kind of bland though... She was too quiet. I expected gasping for air and pain, but she just kind of laid down... I was impressed with how still the dead people could lay though. There was this one time when I thought Juilet was a puppet or something! None of them flinched at all! Paula, of course, took deep enjoyment in the kissing. It was rather funny to see Matt ('Romeo's' brother) go "EWW!" when Paula said she might have a crush on Romeo ^.^

Hehehe.... after that I came home, had pizza... all that good stuff!

Hope you found deep enjoyment in this installment of my life.

Such Sweet Sorrow...

Yesterday was the last service in my old church. I didn't feel extremely emotional or anything, but it is kind of an odd sensation to know that you can walk in the middle of the church aisle way, shaking peoples hands, laughing, and saying good morning and knowing that you will never do this again. Ever.

I suppose my brain's just not coming to the realization that I will never sit in those seats again, that I will never sit in the Sunday school rooms there, that this building will no longer be mine to love as a church. I left a little note someplace in one of the rooms; it's simple kind of thing, kind of cliche'd. I'm not going to say where I put it... but you will need to remove something to find it. I know o.o I forgot to date the thing and couldn't get it out.

Next Sunday will be our first service in the new building. I don't honestly see how we're going to get everything done in time. It still looks like it's still undergoing major construction, and it is. The girl's bathroom is pretty though... It's purple

Ah. Yes. The whole thing is odd, but it's all wonderful at the same time. Hopefully we will attract new members, for we are no longer unseen. Everyone knows where the library is! And we're moving right in! I believe some people have already promised to check it out and the paper's coming (again!) to our first service.

Today I helped a little by sweeping. Not a lot, but there wasn't much else for me to do. We still need flooring. We still need to paint. And we need to move everything! But of course, we can't 'move in' until everything else is done. Which still seems like a month ahead, even though they just have to get it done by next Sunday.

*sigh* There's also someone else I know who is dying from a horrible case of stomach cancer. If he survives a month, everyone will be surprized.

But I don't want to sum up by depressing you all... but if I say something about school that would not exactly bring bliss into your lives
